Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Modern Charm Co. (“we”, “our”, “us”) design builder and website (“the Site”). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

What the Site does

The Site is a free tool for designing and previewing custom 3D-printed products, such as stocking tags, magnets and keychains (some products may be listed as “coming soon” or be unavailable at times). The Site only shows previews.You can’t buy or pay for anything here.

Saving designs and ordering

When you save a design, you get a design code and a link where it can be viewed for a limited time (currently 30 days). Anyone with the code or link can view the design, so share it only with people you choose. To order, you use the design code in our Etsy shop. Orders, payments, shipping and returns are handled on Etsy and are covered by Etsy’s terms and our shop policies, not these terms. Saving a design does not place an order or reserve anything.

Preview accuracy

Colors, sizes, thicknesses, lettering and the “On a stocking” view are close approximations. Finished 3D-printed products may look different because of filament colors, the printing process and your screen. The preview is not a guarantee of the final product.

Your designs and the text you enter

You are responsible for the names and text you enter. Don’t use the Site to create anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that uses someone else’s trademark, copyright or other rights without permission. We may decline to make any design.

You give us permission to store, display and use your saved designs to show you your preview, make your order, and improve our products and the Site. Our use of any personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.

Our content

The designs, artwork, lettering styles, 3D models, photos, graphics and code on the Site belong to Modern Charm Co. or are used under license. You may use the Site to design and preview products for yourself, but you may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute any part of the Site or its assets.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Site: for example, don’t try to break or overload it, get around its security or rate limits, or use automated tools to collect its designs or data.

Availability

The Site is still being developed. Features, designs and products may change or be removed, and the Site may have bugs or be unavailable at times.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Modern Charm Co. is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages from your use of the Site, including inaccurate previews, lost designs or the Site being unavailable. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Other websites

The Site links to other websites, such as Etsy. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post changes here with a new “Last updated” date. Using the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
