Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Modern Charm Co. (“we”, “our”, “us”) runs this website, where you can design and preview custom 3D-printed stocking tags, magnets and keychains. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including the rights California residents have under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA”).
This site only previews designs. You can’t buy anything or pay here. When you save a design you get a design code, and you place your order and pay in our Etsy shop. Etsy’s own privacy policy covers anything you share there.
Your privacy choices
You can opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page (also linked at the bottom of every page). We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out. More on this below.
Information we collect
Designs you make and save. When you use the builder we receive the choices you make so we can draw your preview: the design, the name or text you type, lettering style, colors, border, spacing and string. When you save a design, we store those choices with a preview image under a design code, so you and our shop can open it later. The names you type may be names of real people or pets.
How you use the builder. We may record what visitors create and how they use the builder (for example which designs, colors and features are chosen, and which designs are saved). If this information is linked to a cookie or device identifier, it is personal information and is covered by your opt-out.
Feedback. If you send feedback through the “Have feedback or a suggestion?” link, we receive whatever you type. Please don’t include sensitive personal information.
Device and connection information. Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page you came from, and the date and time. We use this to run the site, protect it from abuse (for example, limiting how fast requests can be made) and fix problems. Your IP address can show your approximate location (such as city or region); we do not collect precise location.
Cookies, local storage and similar tools. See Cookies below.
We don’t ask for your email address, phone number or payment information on this site, and we don’t require an account.
Cookies and similar technologies
Needed for the site to work.Your browser’s local storage keeps your list of tags in progress so a refresh doesn’t lose them, and a cookie remembers if you opted out. These stay on your device and aren’t used for advertising.
Advertising and analytics. We may use cookies, pixels and similar tools from advertising and analytics partners. They help us understand how people use the site and let our partners show you our ads on other websites and apps (“retargeting”). These partners may collect your IP address, cookie and device identifiers, the pages you visit here and actions you take, and may combine that with information they have from other websites. These tools never load if you have opted out or your browser sends GPC.
Advertising and analytics partners currently in use:
- Google Analytics(Google LLC) — measures visits and how the site is used, including builder activity: which designs, lettering styles, colors and strings people choose, and when they add or save a design. The names you type on your designs are never sent. If you have turned on ad personalization in your Google account, Google may also use this data to show you our ads. Cookies:
_ga,_ga_*, kept up to 2 years. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. - TikTok Pixel(TikTok) — lets TikTok show our ads to people who visited the site and measure how those ads do. It receives the pages you visit, your IP address and browser details, and builder activity: which design you look at, and when you add or save a design (the design and its colors, never the name on it). Cookie:
_ttp, kept up to 13 months. See TikTok’s privacy policy. - Meta Pixel(Meta Platforms, for Facebook and Instagram) — lets Meta show our ads to people who visited the site and measure how those ads do. It receives the pages you visit, your IP address and browser details, and the same builder activity as TikTok (never the name on your design). Cookies:
_fbp(and_fbcif you arrive from a Meta ad), kept up to 90 days. See Meta’s privacy policy.
We will list each new partner here before we start using it.
Google Fonts. If you choose a Google Font for your lettering, your browser loads that font from Google, which receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.

- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix errors
- To follow the law and protect our rights
Who we share information with
- Service providers who help us run the site and only use the information for us: our website host, our database provider (which stores saved designs), and the chat service we use to receive feedback.

- Others when required:to follow the law or a valid legal request, to protect our rights or anyone’s safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
California privacy notice
This section applies to California residents and adds to the rest of this policy. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information below.
- Identifiers — IP address; cookie, pixel and device identifiers.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. When we use advertising partners for retargeting, we “share” identifiers and internet activity with them for cross-context behavioral advertising, and this may be considered a “sale” under California law. You can opt out at any time. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Sensitive personal information. We don’t ask for sensitive personal information and don’t use it to infer anything about you.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, sources, purposes and who we disclose it to, and get a copy
- Delete personal information we collected from you, with some exceptions (for example, information we need to fill an order)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see below)
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we don’t use sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to limit
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights. The builder works the same whether or not you opt out.
To ask to know, delete or correct, contact us as shown under Contact. Because we don’t keep accounts, we’ll ask for details that let us find your information, such as your design code or the name on your design, and we only use them to handle your request. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent may act for you. We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time (up to 45 more days).
How to opt out of sale and sharing
- Visit Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Informationand choose “Opt out.” It takes one click and doesn’t need any personal details.
- Or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or a browser extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out for that browser.
After you opt out, advertising, retargeting and analytics tags don’t load on our site in that browser, and what you do in the builder isn’t tracked in a way tied to you. Your choice is saved in a cookie in that browser for about 13 months; if you clear cookies or use another browser or device, opt out there too (or use GPC). We honor opt-outs from all visitors, not only California residents.
How long we keep information
- Tags in progress stay in your browser until you save, remove them or clear your browser data.
- Your opt-out cookie lasts about 13 months.
- Saved designs: anyone with your design code can view it for 30 days. We keep saved designs as long as we need them to make and support orders, and then delete them.
- Feedback is kept as long as it is useful for improving the site.
- Server and security logs are kept for a short time by our hosting provider.
- Advertising and analytics data is kept by our partners under their own retention policies; we will list them with each partner.
Children’s privacy
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We’ll post changes on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and we review it at least once a year.
